Alone in a tree, by a lake, in an aspen forest, lived Georgina Gnome.
She is a collector of things, and they make her feel happy!
What happens when all that stuff disappears though?
Where will she find happiness then?
Georgina Gnome is about to discover what can happen when you let
friends in and let stuff go.
Star Stuff Stories is proud to present our debut book.
Written by Amber Ray Snyder and illustrated by Shaun Kelly.
Georgina Gnome and Things! is the debut self published book from Star Stuff Stories!
A heartfelt story about resilience and valuing community and friendship. Inspired by Amber's real-life experience of the Texas, Bastrop County Complex fires in 2011. Wherein she and her family lost everything but not each other. Amber's father's words of "It's just stuff" became the enduring message which inspired the story.
With over 60 full page spreads of beautifully hand drawn art. It aims to bring gentle lessons of letting stuff go and valuing each other in a format accessible to children from the ages of 5 to 11 years old.
